For the Cardiff Animation Festival 2024 Ident competition, I created my first full stop-motion animation in response to the year’s theme, “Treats.” Using the festival’s poster, colour palette, and mascot as inspiration, I reimagined the mascot as a claymation puppet and combined it with cutout paper bugs animated on a multiplane set, all captured in DragonFrame. I also created the title scene using Adobe Animate and After Effects, and edited the entire piece in Premiere Pro—my first experience with the software. This project allowed me to explore multiple animation techniques and workflows while developing new technical skills across both practical and digital platforms.
